Stay and Play

Our Stay and Play sessions run every first and third Monday of each month from 11:30am-1pm. There is a craft table and play area for toddlers, a baby area and tea, coffee and biscuits for you. The Stay and Play sessions are a great opportunity to meet and chat with other twin mums (and dads!) about anything, from understanding how overwhelming being a twin parent can be to wondering why twins seem to enjoy licking each others’ feet. This is a friendly group and there are always spare hands to help out. Our lovely volunteers, Jennifer and Julie, are very welcoming and always manage to bring over a coffee at just the right moment.

For these sessions we do ask for a contribution of £2.50 per family.

Rye-Day Friday

If you are looking for something to do with your little ones on the last Friday of each month, then come along to the Rye to get them out into the fresh air. We meet by the play-park in the middle of the Rye (opposite the Lido) at 10am on the last Friday of each month between March and October.

This is largely weather-dependent, so join our Lots of Tots Facebook group to keep an eye on any updates!

Family Days

We organise Family Days on Saturdays or Sundays four times throughout the year so that you can bring the whole family along. Alongside the Summer Picnic and Christmas Party, we also hold an Easter party and a Halloween party. There are games, toys, themed crafts and refreshments, and fancy dress is always very welcome!

Family Days are held at Hazelmere Community Centre and further details can be found on our Calendar and on our Facebook group.

Summer Picnic

The Summer Picnic takes place on the field beside North Dean Village Hall one Saturday in July. It is a lovely chance for families of multiples to bring along a picnic, enjoy the sunshine and get to know other like-minded families. This is the perfect way for parents to meet new people while children have a run around with new friends.

The Twins Club Big Summer Bash 2017 is going to be our best yet! With face painting, a bouncy castle, ball pool for the very little ones, a bring your own picnic on the field and lots and lots of twins, you’d be silly to miss out! This event will be just £5 per family for non-members and totally free for members.

Christmas Party

Our Lots of Tots Christmas Party is held on a Sunday afternoon in mid December and is an ideal event for the whole family. Older and younger siblings are very welcome and there is a baby area and a play area for older children. There are Christmassy crafts, a shared tea and lots of toys, songs, an appearance from Father Christmas and entertainment, which was last year (2017) provided by Hartbeeps.

The Christmas Party usually takes place at Hazelmere Community Centre.

Social Nights

Every so often, we twin parents realise that it’s been quite a while since we had a night out with friends, or wore a bit of make-up, or had a beverage that wasn’t tea or coffee. That’s why we try to schedule regular social events throughout the year, with the most popular being a meal or drinks out one evening. Potential dates are usually suggested on our Facebook Group page with a view to finding a date that suits as many people as possible, so join our group here for more information.
